Cozy and nice environment, huge menu selection , and friendly staffs.
I talked with Mis. Ina, one of the owners of the Malaysian and Philippine stores, and was impressed by her passion for this cafe and her dedication to staff training.
She said that the founder, Mr. William, works harder than anyone else.
Before serving customers, the staff takes pictures of all food and drinks and sends them to the Founder and Owner. They check all few hundred of photos every day, and if there are any mistakes, they give guidance as needed.
“Practice doesn't make perfect, it makes you evolve. There is no goal. We are always evolving. “
Mis. Ina's words are impressive.
I am looking forward to seeing how the cafe will become more and more sophisticated and better.

アジアのベスト80にも選ばれていて、KLでも大人気のニュージーランドカフェ「Antipodean」。心地の良い環境、ものすごくたくさんのメニューセレクション、フレンドリーなスタッフ。
マレーシアとフィリピンの店舗のオーナーの1人である、イナさんにお話を伺いましたが、この店へのパッションやスタッフ教育の熱心さに感動しました。ファウンダーのウィリアム氏も誰よりも働きものだそう。
お客に提供する前に、スタッフはすべての料理とドリンクの写真を撮り、ファウンダーとオーナーに送ります。彼らは毎日何100枚もの写真を全てチェックし、間違いがあれば随時指導しているそう。
「練習は完璧になるためでなく、進化するため。ゴールはない。常に進化し続ける。」とのイナさんの言葉が印象的です。
どんどん洗練されて良いお店になっていくのだろうと思い、楽しみです。

Renaissance hotel’s Ramadan buffet features local heritage and traditional dishes.
The huge drum-like wok filled with traditional Malay dishes are a sight to behold.
Although whole roasted lamb is served in many places, I had never seen a 40 kg whole roasted beef leg before. The giant prawns are one of the first dishes you should get. (They are very popular and disappear quickly.)
I recommend the lamb briyani and the mala beef.
It is so popular that they usually add more seats in the lobby every year, so make reservations early.

What a satisfy buffet! It is worth going to Desaru for this meal. Get now the early bird discount of 25% off ! I highly recommend it. With this content, the price could be another RM100 higher per person. I felt it was reasonable.
There is a Thai and BBQ section and seafood on ice, mainly Malay food.
There are many meat and fish dishes on the menu and each dish is carefully prepared by a team led by Chef Fahdrul Abd Malek.
Beautiful and high quality. The beef and lamb steaks are of a higher quality than what you would find at a typical buffet. The noodle dishes were also elaborate, with beef noodles and tom yum seafood noodles. There were so many dishes to try that it was hard to keep track. Even the desserts are very tasty.

なんて充実したビュッフェ！この食事のためにデサルに行く価値があると思います。早割の25%オフをすぐゲットしてOK。とてもおすすめです。この内容だと、価格は1人あたりあとRM100高くてもいいくらい。リーズナブルに感じました。
マレー料理を中心に、タイ料理とBBQコーナー、シーフードオンアイスがあります。
お肉やお魚のメニューが多く、シェフのFahdrul Abd Malek 氏の率いるチームにより一品一品が丁寧に作られています。美しくて上質。ビーフやラムのステーキは、一般的なビュッフェで出てくるもの以上のお肉のクオリティ。麺料理も凝っていて、ビーフヌードルとトムヤムシーフードヌードルがありました。食べてみたいメニューが多すぎて困るほど。デザートまでとてもおいしくいただけます。

Sometimes (quite often) I am asked where is the best Japanese restaurant in JB.
One of the places I always answer is here.
There are only a handful of Japanese restaurants in JB that are owned by Japanese people.
Two of them are Kemuri Sakaba in Permas Jaya and Kemuri in Molek.
You can enjoy home-style cooking and izakaya food, just like in Japan, which is delicious, casual and inexpensive.
It is not as gorgeous as Japanese restaurants by local owners, and you may not find all the flavors easy to understand, but there are a variety of dishes on the menu, so be sure to try some new tastes.
It is not a special Japanese food, but an everyday meal that you can go to every day. I highly recommend it. Check menu!

The chef lived in many countries, and worked at a Michelin Hong Kong-style dim sum restaurant in Australia for more than five years. He insists on hand-made all food and sauces without any artificial additives.
Signature Seven colours dumplings are toned by vegetable juice, without artificial coloring. Previously, the dumplings base was seafood. This time it changed to meat base. It’s tasty!

パルマスジャヤにある餃子とヌードルレストラン。
シェフはオーストラリアのミシュラン香港スタイルの点心レストランで5年以上シェフとして働いてきたそう。全ての料理とソースを手作りにこだわり、人工添加物や人工着色料を一切使わないのがポリシー。麺も自家製です。
シグネイチャーの7色餃子は、カラフルですが全て野菜ジュース由来の色。以前はベースはシーフードのアンでしたが、今回お肉になっていてさらに美味しくなっていました。
赤いお肉の麺は紅麹に漬け込んだ柔らかい軟骨豚肉。ピリ辛のピータンきゅうりやワンタンもとてもおいしくて、リーズナブル。いいお店です。

嬉しいハッピーアワー！こんなセットが欲しかった。
ペランギにある日本とタイのヒュージョン焼き鳥バーで、夕方3時から6時まで、ビールと焼き鳥3本でRM29.9 という乾杯セットが登場しました。
日本ではカジュアルな飲み屋で、仕事が早く終わったビジネスマンが3時くらいからビールを飲み出しますが、短い時間でサクッと気軽に飲んで食べて帰るという店がJBにも欲しかった。ここは雰囲気も良いし、炉端焼きやひつまぶしなどのメニューもあります。モクテルのセットもあるので、子供のおやつがわりに立ち寄ることもできるし、1杯だけ飲んで帰るのも、そのまま夜まで飲み続けることもできていい感じ。
密かな楽しみをぜひ！

Recently I heard that they have always long queue. So I had lunch.
Looks very attractive! There are many dishes at counter, shop is fashionable and clean. Queue is long, but serving speed is fast.
I and my friend ordered many kinds of dishes. Payment is later. So we guess how much? Maybe RM24-27? The answer is RM38.5. Ah. Squid is not reasonable. Haha.
Ayam Bawang is tender and soft. I really like broccoli fry and bean sprout. Their gravy taste is good. Taste is delicious! Not too sweet, not too salty, not too oily. Just my taste. We really enjoyed this Nasi Kandar experience !

最近お昼時にはいつも行列ができている、JBで最も人気のあるナシ・カンダーのお店の一つ。
ナシカンダーとは、ペナン発祥のマレー料理で、ムスリムインド人からはじまったそう。フライドチキンや各種カレー、野菜料理などを選んでごはんに載せ、さらに何種類ものカレーやグレイビーをかけていただきます。
友人とランチに行きました。
カウンターにはたくさんのおいしそうな料理が並び、店内もオシャレで清潔感があります。行列は長いですが、提供スピードは速いです。
いろいろと指差し注文をし、さていくらでしょう？RM24-27かな？答えはRM38.5でした。イカが結構なお値段。ナシカンダーではシーフードが高いから注意と聞きます。チキンと野菜はリーズナブル。
(こんなにいろいろ注文している人は少なくて、マレーシア人はだいたいチキン1、野菜1、それに付け合わせくらいの感じでオーダーしているのでRM10前後。)
Ayam Bawang(オニオンチキン)は、柔らかく、ブロッコリーのフライともやしがとても気に入りました。グレイビーの味も良く、全体的にとてもおいしいです。甘すぎず、塩辛すぎず、脂っこすぎず。ハマる味。
さまざまな人種の方が食事をしていて、いいお店だと思いました。また来たい。

It’s Zaituna: Arabic (Lebanese ) restaurant’s new outlet. They have only seafood menu.
I’m big fan of Zaituna restaurant. They always serve delicious foods. I really like the taste.
This time, Arabic Seafood dishes is my first time experience.
They cook Live seafood like Siakap and Lobster.
This time, we ordered Dulang Offer Family Set and some appetiser and dessert.
Everything is amazingly super delicious!
Seafood is very fresh.
And price is affordable! Total RM 218 for 5pax !
They serve only seafood and vegetable menu. So if we could order some meat dishes, it’s perfect place!

何もかもがとてもとてもおいしい！
Zaituna、アラビア（レバノン）料理店の新店舗は、シーフード専門店。本家から100mくらい先にこの店があります。
Zaituna はいつでもとても美味しい料理を出してくれるので、私はこの店の大ファン。
今回、アラビックシーフード料理を初めて食べました。
店内に生簀があって、スズキやロブスターなど、生きたシーフードを調理してくれます。
今回は、ドゥラン・オファーファミリーセットとアラカルトの前菜、デザートを注文しました。さまざまな調理法の魚介が載った、パエリアみたいなお料理。
どれもこれも超美味しくてびっくりしました。
シーフードはとても新鮮です。
そして値段もお手頃。スープからデザートまでたくさんいただいて、5人で合計RM218！
メニューはシーフードと野菜のみなので、肉料理が少しあれば完璧だと思いました。

明るい雰囲気でカジュアルにメキシカンとお酒がいただけます。
ボトルワインやお料理も手軽な感じ。8時までのハッピーアワーはすごくお得。

チキンファジータがとてもおいしかったです。友人との集まりに、使い勝手がよさそう。

There are many attractive breads and cakes. Signature Kaya croissant is delicious! Creamy butter and not so sweet Kaya jam is so good.
I surprised their cakes are also good taste.
About food menu, Manzanita Spring Chicken is their signature. RM23.8 is value for money.
They have A lot of parking spaces. Convenient!

Taman Daya にくつろげるベーカリーカフェがニューオープン！
パティスリー＆ブーランジェリーカフェ「Manzanita」の2号店は、美しくてリラックスできる場所。駐車場も豊富にあって便利。エコボタニック1号店がありますが、1年前に経営会社が大手飲食グループに変わり、そこからさまざまなリニューアルがされて、今に至るそう。
たくさんの種類のパンやケーキがあります。看板商品のカヤクロワッサンは、クリーミーなバターと甘すぎないカヤジャムがとても美味しかった。
ケーキも以前のイメージよりさらにおいしくなっていました。
フードメニューは、Manzanita Spring Chickenがシグネチャー。RM23.8はコストパフォーマンスが高い。
このお店での私のおすすめはクロワッサンとケーキ類です。チャバタサンドもおいしかった。

I attended special dinner event: Argentinian Asado Experience !
Asado is Argentinian BBQ dish where chunks of meat are slowly grilled over charcoal.
Meats are very juicy and tender. Just simple grill. But it’s the best taste with Chimichurri sauce and Salsa criolla.
Argentinian couple cook it! So very authentic! Real taste !!
Feastival is outdoor camp feeling place inside Gaya Garden.
We can enjoy delicious Argentinian Asado, cocktails and Beer under the stars !
Maybe it’s new experience for you.
