I was invited by the Crowne Plaza KLCC Hotel to celebrate and wish for a prosperous 2026 with a lion dance and lunch.
The powerful acrobatic lion dance featured a zodiac horse mascot. We celebrated with a Yee Sang, enjoyed a drum performance, and savored a delicious seven-course Chinese lunch. It was surprising to find such delicious Chinese cuisine at this hotel, which doesn't even have a Chinese restaurant.
In response to guest requests, they will continue offering this private dining course until March 3rd. (Per person: RM138.80+ to RM398.80+)

クラウンプラザKLCCホテルより、豊かな2026年を願い祝う、ライオンダンスとランチに招待いただきました。
迫力あるアクロバティックライオンダンスに干支の馬のマスコットも登場。イーサンでお祝いし、太鼓のパフォーマンスの後、7コースのとても美味しい中華ランチを堪能しました。このホテルには中華レストランがないのに、こんなにおいしい中華がいただけるとは驚き。
お客の要望に応じて、3/3までこのプライベートダイニングコースの提供を続けるとのことです。( １人当たりRM138.80+ to RM398.80+)

Ramadan 2026 began on February 19th.
And the Ramadan Bazaar has also started. Basic operating hours are from around 3 PM to 8 PM.
The Dato Karamat Ramadan Bazaar I visited today is about a 15-minute drive from Suria KLCC, or a 10-minute walk from the Jelatek MRT station.
The food sold here seemed to be a relatively standard lineup. Lots of items around RM5!

2026年のラマダンが2月19日からスタートしました。
そして、ラマダンバザールもはじまっています。基本的な営業時間は午後3時から8時くらいまで。
今日私が行ったDato Karamat のラマダンバザールは、Suria KLCC から車で15分くらい、電車のJelatek駅から徒歩10分ほどの場所。
ここで売っている食べ物は、比較的スタンダードなラインナップだと思いました。RM5くらいのものがたくさん！

A symbolic landmark of Kuala Lumpur.
Built in 1897, this historic building originally served as a government office during British colonial rule and later as the High Court. Its Moorish-style dome and clock tower are beautiful.
Standing directly opposite Independence Square, it's a popular photo spot. After extensive renovations, it reopened to the public on February 2nd this year.
It now houses the Royal Selangor Gallery, a cafe, and souvenir shops.

Gen Izakaya & Ramen is a casual premium Japanese restaurant by Motoya United Co., Ltd., founded in Okayama Prefecture in 1947. Following the yakiniku dining bar "Gen Yakiniku" in Changkat, this cozy izakaya and ramen restaurant has opened on Level 2 of the Pullman Hotel.
Enjoy classic Japanese comfort food crafted by Chef Yasuhiro Tominaga, with over 20 years of exceptional Japanese culinary expertise, alongside five creative ramen varieties overseen by ramen specialist Akihiro Nakagawa, all served in a simple, modern space.
