It’s one of the nicest brunch !
L Èden is a wood-fired café-restaurant. Located about a 10-minute walk from Ampang Park Station, it’s a standalone restaurant with a spacious garden.
I stopped by for a stroll from home, and so many customers were pouring in that I wondered if there was some kind of event going on.
A live band was performing on the second floor facing the outdoors, and many people were enjoying their meals in the garden. I ate inside, but the greenery visible through the windows was beautiful, and the delicious coffee and onion gratin soup loaded with cheese were fantastic. The brunch menu offers everything from light granola to hearty big breakfast options, and the desserts are tempting as well. It seems they also have a pasta menu available after noon.
It was a wonderful brunch—delicious, comfortable, and it really gave me that vacation vibe.

マレーシアで最高のブランチができるレストラン！
L Èdenは薪焼きコンセプトのカフェレストラン。Ampang Park駅から徒歩10分程度の場所で、広い庭付きの一軒家レストランです。
自宅から散歩がてら来てみましたが、続々とお客が入っていくので、イベントでもあるのかと思ったくらいです。
2階から外に向かって生バンドの演奏もあり、庭で食事を楽しむ方もたくさん。室内でいただきましたが、窓から見える緑も美しく、おいしいコーヒーとチーズたっぷりのオニオングラタンスープは最高。ブランチメニューは軽めのグラノーラからしっかりとしたビッグブレックファーストメニューがいくつもあり、デザートも魅力的。昼以降はパスタメニューもあるようです。
美味しくて心地よくて旅行気分も味わえる素敵なブランチでした。

Chaleur Atelier is a popular “modern French patisserie” in Johor Bahru, run by Chefs Joscelyn and Alfred.
Known for its artistic cakes and delicate flavors, it’s a go-to choice for events and gifts.
Beautiful, subtly sweet, and featuring layers of diverse textures and flavors, these cakes are sure to bring joy to everyone. Among them, the “Mochi Strawberry”—a shortcake filled with plenty of strawberries and wrapped in mochi—is a must-try. With new creations like a cake shaped like a date, this is a shop worth visiting every season.
Tucked away in a corner of Kebun Teh, the atelier offers dine-in service with delicious coffee, though most orders are for pickup or delivery. They also have a sales counter inside Knock Knock Cafe on Mount Austin.

I saw it in Ho Chi Minh City and loved it so much that I went to see it in Hanoi too. Live music and singing, plus a comical puppet show. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t figure out how they managed those quick movements.
ホーチミンで見てすごく好きだったのでハノイでも行ってみた。生演奏と生歌、コミカルな人形劇。素早い動きをどうやって操作しているのかどう考えてもわからない。

Kalamata Cafe, a hidden gem in Desa Sri Hartamas serving Mediterranean, Greek, and Egyptian cuisine.
The menu, reflecting the owner's roots, featured authentic dishes that truly valued the natural flavors of the ingredients.
The interior was a warm, calming space with terracotta and turquoise tones. It was a sophisticated Mediterranean restaurant that didn't rely on flashiness or trends, but instead focused on quality ingredients and careful preparation.
The slow-smoked lamb shoulder, cooked so tender you didn't need a knife,
had a surprisingly mild flavor, free from the typical lamb gaminess.
The umami, sweetness, and smoky aroma spread throughout, making it incredibly delicious.
Kebabs come in Greek-style and Egyptian-style ( my first time to try!), both are appealing.
A restaurant where you can have a good time. Perfect for days in Kuala Lumpur when you want a meal that feels like a little trip.
They also welcome use as an event space.

オーナーのルーツが生かされたメニューは、どれも素材の味を大切にした本格派。

旨味と甘み、香ばしさが広がりとてもおいしかった。ケバブはギリシャ式と、はじめて出会うエジプト式があり、どちらも魅力的。
良い時間が過ごせるレストラン。クアラルンプールで、少しだけ旅をするような食事をしたい日にぴったり。

This is a serviced apartment where you can stay as if you were living in Mont Kiara, KL.
The room is spacious and very simple, abd the big plus is that they are equipped with a large refrigerator, washer/dryer, kitchen, and have a large bathtub.
And above all, it is too convenient that it is directly connected to 163 Mall, which has many stylish cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. The mall was crowded with people even around 9 pm.
I stayed at another serviced apartment managed by Bamboo Hospitality about a month ago and found it very comfortable, so I stayed at The OOAK this time.
As a hotel stayer, I like the fact that it is not just an air B&B, but that there are staff at the reception to check in and help you if you have any problems, just like in a hotel.

ホテルステイ派の私としては、ただのAir B&Bではなくて、レセプションにスタッフがいて、ホテルと同じようにチェックインしたり、困った時に対応してもらえるのがとても良い。

A quiet house behind Thistle Hotel. When you open the door with the sign, you will find yourself in a stylish and tasteful café. Bakeman, a confectionery brand created by my friend Tony, who started out as a home baker, has opened a pop-up cafe for weekends only. The sweets, all made with extremely low sugar content, are gentle and delicious, and seem to reflect Tony's personality. You can also enjoy a cup of delicious hand-pressed coffee.
His snowskin mooncakes are not too sweet, and are so popular that many customers order in large quantities.
The banana cake is also very popular because of its flavor and handmade tenderness. The cake we had this time was also very tasty, healthy and high quality, using yogurt and taro etc.
Check the Instagram for monthly opening days. Seating is limited, so advance reservations are recommended.

Thistle ホテル裏手にある静かな一軒家。看板を目印にドアを開けると、そこはセンス良いオシャレな空間のカフェ。ホームベイカーからスタートした、友人Tonyの手掛けるお菓子ブランドのBakeman が、週末限定でポップアップカフェをオープン。全て極限まで低糖にしたお菓子は、優しくておいしくてTonyの人柄を表しているよう。ハンドプレスの美味しいコーヒーも飲めます。
彼の作るスノースキン月餅は、食べくりサイズで甘くなく、大人気で大量オーダーを入れる顧客も多いです。
バナナケーキも風味よくて手作りの優しさがあり大人気。今回いただいたケーキも、ヨーグルトやタロ芋などを使用し、ヘルシーで上質でとてもおいしかった。

A quiet house behind Thistle Hotel. When you open the door with the sign, you will find yourself in a stylish and tasteful café. Bakeman, a confectionery brand created by my friend Tony, who started out as a home baker, has opened a pop-up cafe for weekends only. The sweets, all made with extremely low sugar content, are gentle and delicious, and seem to reflect Tony's personality. You can also enjoy a cup of delicious hand-pressed coffee.
His snowskin mooncakes are not too sweet, and are so popular that many customers order in large quantities.
The banana cake is also very popular because of its flavor and handmade tenderness. The cake we had this time was also very tasty, healthy and high quality, using yogurt and taro etc.
Check the Instagram for monthly opening days. Seating is limited, so advance reservations are recommended.

I'm sorry that before visiting, I suspected that the restaurant was only good for large portions. But Actually It was a very tasty, affordable, and nice restaurant.
A restaurant specializing in Japanese-style mega Don (rice bowls) and Kakigori (shaved ice ) opened in Permas City in April 2025.
The restaurant was born when Eddie, an experienced chef with 20 years of experience in Japanese cuisine in Singapore and Malaysia, and Joe, who runs several cafes specializing in shaved ice, met.
The volume of Don is eye-catching, but the taste and price are also very satisfying. The signature dish is a large Don topped with pork ribs so tender they fall apart with chopsticks. The unagi and 2 types meat of char-grilled Don are also very popular. You can also choose a small Don, and it is filled to the brim with many ingredients. Whether you have a small appetite or want to eat a lot, the whole family can enjoy it.
After dinner, don't forget to try the authentic Kakigori. It was so delicious that I finished it even though I was full.
Soup, cabbage, and side dishes are free refills.

訪れる前は、大盛りだけが取り柄のお店だと疑っていてごめんなさい。とても美味しくてお手頃で、いいお店でした。
Permas City に4月にオープンした日本式メガ盛りどんぶりとかき氷の専門店。シンガポールなどでの和食経験20年の熟練シェフEddie と、かき氷専門カフェを数店舗経営するJoeが出会い、誕生したお店。ボリュームが目を引きますが、それだけでなく、味も価格も全てが大満足。箸で崩れるほどに柔らかいポークリブがぎっしりと載った大盛りの丼がシグネイチャー。うなぎや3種の炭火焼き丼も大人気。小盛りの丼も選べて、具沢山なのが嬉しい。少食の方もたくさん食べたい方も、家族みんなが楽しめます。
食後には、本格かき氷も忘れずに。お腹いっぱいでも完食できるおいしさ。
スープ、キャベツ、副菜はおかわりフリーです。
