The buffet at the Courtyard Kuala Lumpur South, running through the end of June, has an Asian theme. It features dishes from Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, and South Korea.
The appetizers include chapchae, Soba noodle salad, and papaya salad, while desserts feature hotteok, dorayaki, dango, a mango and sticky rice dessert, and kuehâan assortment rarely seen at other hotels.
Of course, the main dishes include sumptuous grilled items and teppanyaki. The promotion offering two free children per two adults is also a great deal.

A new modern luxury Chinese restaurant has opened inside the Hyatt Regency KL.
Led by Executive Chinese Chef Alan Shao, a native of Qingdao, the restaurant is renowned for its Northern Chinese cuisine, delicate dim sum, and wood-fired Peking duck.
I was immediately captivated by the tea room right at the entrance and the exquisite, high-quality dishes served in such an elegant setting.
The crispy yet moist shrimp rice rolls colored with red yeast, the tofu soup showcasing masterful craftsmanship, and the sweet dim sum and dessertsâwhich are subtly sweetâoffer a perfect balance that leaves you feeling light and satisfied after the meal.
Whether dining with family, friends, or for a business meal, this is a restaurant youâll want to visit time and time again.

Nizza has added a new à la cart menu featuring authentic flavors from the Amalfi Coast of Italy!
The menu is crafted by Chef Simone Fraternali, who was born and raised in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy and has honed his skills at numerous Michelin-starred restaurants. It features an abundance of fresh seafood and herbs. The pastaâincluding ravioli, gnocchi, pappardelle, and fusilliâis handmade in-house daily and is surprisingly authentic. Itâs so delicious that youâll want to mop up every last drop of sauce with bread. Letâs do âLa Scarpettaâ! (This refers to the act of using bread to wipe up the remaining sauce on your plate, a part of Italian food culture that encourages instinctive enjoyment without formalities.)
The lemon butter prawn tagliolini and the seafood soup are of such high quality that youâd be hard-pressed to find anything comparable in Malaysia. The light desserts are also quite nice. They offer a variety of à la carte dishes that are perfect for sharing. Available for both lunch and dinner.

I first tasted Executive Pastry Chef Jason de Ocaâs desserts at last yearâs Christmas buffet. I was amazed by the sheer beauty and deliciousness of his classic yet creative dessertsâit was an unforgettable experience. However, with his signature desserts and afternoon tea this time, I was once again moved by the quality and flavor of the ingredients.
Chef Jasonâs creations are âbold yet elegant,â blending the classic elegance of Europe with the delicate sensibility of Asia. The desserts, with their restrained sweetness and perfect balance of sweet and savory, are exquisite.
The afternoon tea begins with a fragrant welcome tea infused with lemongrass and ginger. The savory course features a refreshing pomelo and shrimp pie, followed by classic sandwiches, a croque-monsieur, and perfectly baked pastries, leading into modern flavors cakes.
The tea selection is from Jing Tea.
They say the variety of desserts available for online purchase or in the lounge will continue to expand. They also accommodate custom-made desserts for weddings and events.

This year's theme, "Reunion Stars," is crafted by Executive Chinese Chef Alex Au.
Three set menus, available for both lunch and dinner, feature dishes perfect for festive celebrations.
Highlights include truffle-scented fried prawns, melt-in-your-mouth Iberico pork barbecue, and Hong Kong-style claypot rice with cured meats. The latter uses sausages imported from Hong Kong, carefully cooked to create a deeply flavorful dish showcasing the depth achieved through time and skill. Desserts range from exquisite walnut cream dumplings to the utterly charming goldfish-shaped nian gao.
The calm, chinoiserie-inspired space includes private rooms.
