The IPPUDO × MAiSEN concept store has opened at Bangsar Shopping Centre!
The opening party featured speeches by Mr. Donald Lim, Director of the Ippudo and MAiSEN franchises in Malaysia, and Mr. Noriyuki Shikata, Ambassador Japan to Malaysia, followed by a grand signing ceremony.
Why not try a new Japanese dining experience at this restaurant, where Japanese craftsmanship comes together in the form of Ippudo ramen, MAiSEN tonkatsu, and Malaysia’s first Suntory Highball Bar?
In addition to Hakata ramen’s Shiro-maru and Aka-maru, you can enjoy rich Kurobuta pork ramen and vegetarian ramen, as well as MAiSEN’s pork fillet cutlet and cutlet sandwiches, all paired with premium highballs featuring Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Hibiki. It’s wonderful to be able to compare and taste these top-quality highballs! (Yamazaki was my most favorite!)

On a lazy Saturday afternoon, we thoroughly enjoyed high-quality Japanese cuisine and drinks to our heart’s content! The “roaming bar” mixologist went from table to table mixing cocktails for each guest, and everything was served fresh—from sashimi and sushi featuring high-quality tuna, salmon, and kampachi delivered directly from Tokyo’s Tsukiji Market, to Australian Wagyu sirloin Sukiyaki and skewers grilled over binchōtan charcoal. Raw oysters and tempura were also on the menu.
Saturday Brunch has just launched today at ENSŌ inside the Hyatt Regency KL Midtown. The classic luxury space, which reimagines the rustic charm of a Japanese farmhouse with refined elegance, is absolutely lovely. With its open-air terrace, it’s the perfect setting for a sophisticated gathering for adults.

The eye-catching, luxurious, and beautiful "LV The Place" in Bangkok. This is where Bangkok’s first Louis Vuitton exhibition is being held. It’s an immersive exhibition where you can experience the brand’s approximately 150-year history, creations, and art collaborations through themed spatial displays. Admission is free with a reservation.
I visited two years ago, but since it was close to my hotel, I decided to go again. It wasn’t crowded, so I was able to take my time looking around. At the end, there was a vending machine-style corner where you could win random prizes, and I received a postcard.

Every dish is incredibly delicious, from roast lamb served with chimichurri sauce and mustard to Nyonya-style curry chicken and Chinese-style steamed fish. The desserts are beautifully presented as well, making this a buffet you can truly enjoy from start to finish.

今のマレーシア料理の原型となる、マレー・中華・インド・西洋が混ざり始めた“原点の時代”の味が一度に楽しめます。

It’s one of the nicest brunch !
L Èden is a wood-fired café-restaurant. Located about a 10-minute walk from Ampang Park Station, it’s a standalone restaurant with a spacious garden.
I stopped by for a stroll from home, and so many customers were pouring in that I wondered if there was some kind of event going on.
A live band was performing on the second floor facing the outdoors, and many people were enjoying their meals in the garden. I ate inside, but the greenery visible through the windows was beautiful, and the delicious coffee and onion gratin soup loaded with cheese were fantastic. The brunch menu offers everything from light granola to hearty big breakfast options, and the desserts are tempting as well. It seems they also have a pasta menu available after noon.
It was a wonderful brunch—delicious, comfortable, and it really gave me that vacation vibe.

L Èdenは薪焼きコンセプトのカフェレストラン。Ampang Park駅から徒歩10分程度の場所で、広い庭付きの一軒家レストランです。
自宅から散歩がてら来てみましたが、続々とお客が入っていくので、イベントでもあるのかと思ったくらいです。
2階から外に向かって生バンドの演奏もあり、庭で食事を楽しむ方もたくさん。室内でいただきましたが、窓から見える緑も美しく、おいしいコーヒーとチーズたっぷりのオニオングラタンスープは最高。ブランチメニューは軽めのグラノーラからしっかりとしたビッグブレックファーストメニューがいくつもあり、デザートも魅力的。昼以降はパスタメニューもあるようです。
美味しくて心地よくて旅行気分も味わえる素敵なブランチでした。

Chaleur Atelier is a popular “modern French patisserie” in Johor Bahru, run by Chefs Joscelyn and Alfred.
Known for its artistic cakes and delicate flavors, it’s a go-to choice for events and gifts.
Beautiful, subtly sweet, and featuring layers of diverse textures and flavors, these cakes are sure to bring joy to everyone. Among them, the “Mochi Strawberry”—a shortcake filled with plenty of strawberries and wrapped in mochi—is a must-try. With new creations like a cake shaped like a date, this is a shop worth visiting every season.
Tucked away in a corner of Kebun Teh, the atelier offers dine-in service with delicious coffee, though most orders are for pickup or delivery. They also have a sales counter inside Knock Knock Cafe on Mount Austin.
